What is Redeemer Church of Dubai all about?
We are about making disciples of all nations. We gather together to sing the Bible, pray the Bible, read the Bible, and preach the Bible.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Redeemer, so wear whatever you like. The atmosphere is generally very casual, so just be yourself.
What's the service like?
When you walk through the doors of the lobby you will receive a big smile from our greeters, along with a weekly bulletin. Our Friday morning worship service begins at 10:00am in the Amal Ballroom (our greeters will be happy to help guide you there). Redeemer is an international church made up of expatriates from over 50 different countries and our service is held in English. Our service formally begins at 10:00am, led most often by an elder or pastoral staff member. During this time, we sing several songs, offer prayers of praise and confession to God, hear Scripture read, and give our offerings and tithes. Our goal is to sing the Bible, pray the Bible, read the Bible, and preach the Bible. Preaching at Redeemer is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last around 40 minutes and are filled with applications. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our service is generally over by 11:30 am.
Do you have classes?
Yes. We 2-3 different discipleship classes that start on Fridays at 9am. One of our staff members or greeters will be more than happy to help you find a Friday morning class. All of our classes are coed and for all ages. These classes are geared towards growing us in our understanding of who God is and the work that He has done. Join us to learn more about God. Classes run from 9:00am-9:45am.
What is the Redeemer Church culture like?
Our church is made up of believers from all nations, ages, cultures and backgrounds. It is our unity in the gospel of Christ that makes us all one family. We are also a friendly church. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and feel free to introduce yourself. We would love to have a chance to meet you and tell you a little bit about us and why we are here.
What about my children?
We offer childcare for children from 0-10 years old during the worship service at 10am. We also have a class for 11-12 year olds, called Jumpstart, during the 9am class time. Children 11 and older join us during the service.
What happens after the service?
Many of the members of Redeemer go to the Al Ghurair Centre food court to eat together and to discuss the sermon. Please join us for the fellowship and to get to know some of our members.
